Noro stripe sock

I'm doing a basic toe-up sock in noro sock yarn, and I'm striping by pulling from both ends of the yarn...

And, well, all the pukey colors converged at the bottom of the sock. I'm not sure I'm loving it.

Hmmm. I don't know...looks good from here! Maybe you'll like it better when you get to some other colors...

Did you see the new knitty sock pattern that uses Noro?

I sort of like it! But then again it could look totally different in person.

And the cool thing about socks is that if you just make sure to ALWAYS wear shoes with these no one will ever know! yay!
('cause you know, that happens)

I dig 'em. Then again, I like really odd color combos so maybe I'm not the best person to voice an opinion on this.

Either way, I think they're hawt sox, and well, I'd never have thought to stripe by pulling from both ends of the yarn.

Is the Noro Sock as soft as it looks, because most other Noro yarn (though lovely to look at) is horridly scratchy.

I agree with the other commenters, I think it looks pretty cool, at least on the photo. I like the two-end idea, I wouldn't have thought of that either
